SCAMP’s first ever Community Cat Day!

This was a new project for SCAMP and we took it on because we knew it was important and much needed. When a donor offered to fund a community cat day, the wheels were set in motion and on November 7, a total of 47 cats were fixed and vaccinated, at prices that were affordable. Getting those cats fixed will prevent thousands of kittens from being born within the next few years, and that’s an amazing victory for Cheatham County. This took a lot of team work, most importantly a willingness of folks in the community who brought their cats in bright and early, many of them had to be trapped! We know a lot of folks have cats that still need to be fixed. We plan to do this again in 2024 so stay tuned.
