Glaucoma doesn’t hold Fredo back!

Happiness does not require two eyes!

Fredo lives life to his fullest.

Fredo came to CCAC as a stray dog in January. Barely a year old, and very much full of puppy exuberance, Fredo also had big cloudy eyes suggestive of glaucoma. We took Fredo to the eye specialist, and the diagnosis was confirmed. We were surprised to learn that he is totally blind, because he gets around and plays with others so well! Fredo is having surgery to remove his eyes, because the pressure from glaucoma can become uncomfortable. We are grateful that his surgery will be paid for by Second Chances for Blind Dogs Foundation. That’s a special gift to Fredo and much appreciated by SCAMP.
