SCAMP’s first Fospice Cat!

Crystal came to CCAC as a 10 year old cat, and she was noted to have some trouble getting around. She was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD) which requires either surgery or chronic pain meds, because it can cause back pain. Given her age, the vet’s recommended was pain management with medication. We knew this would make her harder to adopt, so SCAMP agreed to pay for her medical care for life, so that cost would not be a barrier to finding a good home. We are happy to report that Crystal lucked out with a very concerned and committed forever foster, and she sent us these updates! Thank you for donations that help make this type of program PAWSible!
